Teaching Notes: David – Week 4
We’re in the midst of a teaching series in Salt Co. called “David: How God Makes a King”. For the course of the next 9 months we’ll be jumping in and out of this series, 3 & 4 weeks at a time to study the life of David in 1 and 2 Samuel. Our heart is that God might develop in you a heart like David’s that seeks fully after Jesus. Each week we’ll post the teaching notes here at thesaltcompany.com.
This week we looked at 1 Samuel 17, the infamous story of David and Goliath. God used David because of his passionate heart for the Lord, his willingness to risk everything for God’s glory, and his courage to use his gifts and abilities to build and defend God’s Kingdom.
