Thanksgiving 2009
We were busy on Thanksgiving this year. Thought you’d like an update on the winners of both the very unofficial “Manly Man’s Nite” Halo Tournament, and the 7th Annual Turkey Bowl.
Over 80 people showed up to the Steeleyard Family Stadium for Turkey Bowl VII, 60-65 who actually played football with us. We had 8 teams this year, and one champion, pictured below. Two members of the team were missing for the photo.
On Wednesday night the college guys carried on the Manly Man Halo Tourney. 32+ guys showed up and spent the night at the Steele’s house and had a massive all-night Halo tournament. The winners are pictured below.
If you missed out on the Turkey Day festivities this year, we hope you’ll be a part of them in the future! And either way, we hope you had a great Thanksgiving. And if you haven’t yet, Thanksgiving is a great day to memorize 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18!
